A right transition can combine environmental protection, job creation, and innovation within the productive system. This is the central theme of the fourth edition of the national conference “Sustainable Mobility at Work", organized by Alleanza Clima Lavoro in Bologna. The aim of the event is to provide concrete responses to issues related to mobility, clean energy, and a high-quality development model.
The conference features two days of discussion, five sessions, and forty presentations, bringing together scholars, associations, politicians, public decision-makers, and businesses.

Representing the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna is Armanda Cetrulo, assistant professor at the Institute of Economics. Her presentation is scheduled for Friday, May 15, during the session dedicated to “The Future of Employment between Automation, Digitalization, and Artificial Intelligence.”

Cetrulo’s talk focuses on some of the many impacts of technological innovation on the world of work. Particular attention will be paid to critical issues, ranging from the spread of algorithmic management models capable of exerting pervasive control over labor, to growing global inequalities linked to the increase in micro-workers engaged in training, coding, and moderating content generated through artificial intelligence and digital platforms.
